Show Your Support for Students with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Challenges

Seeking Sponsors for Different Choices 2022

Our sponsors are organizations that understand that learning disabilities and mental health conditions need not hold anyone back from pursuing their goals.

We are proud to work with organizations that share our commitment to inclusion and opportunity — and to ending the stigma associated with disabilities.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships include recognition on our website, in our email marketing and on our social media. Additional benefits are available and can be customized according to your preferences and needs.

Please email us at support@differentchoices.org and ask to speak to a member of our team.

Thank you so much for your interest.

Available Sponsorships

(One sponsorship available at this level)

We seek a presenting sponsor who shares our commitment to equity in education and to the idea that neither learning disabilities nor mental illness should preclude opportunities for higher education or a successful career.

We are looking for a partner who wants to help end the stigma associated with these differences, one who believes that a person with dyslexia, someone who experiences anxiety or depression, or a student with OCD or an eating disorder should not be excluded from opportunities to learn, to work and to grow.

Your support will ensure that we will have the resources needed to create a unique and valuable experience for the 20-25% of American high school students who have experienced such challenges and will require some assistance to succeed. Our aim is to help them find that assistance to have confidence in the future.

Benefits include a prominent position on the website sponsor page (name, link, logo) through spring 2023, being quoted in social media or other digital marketing or promotional communications, your logo (with a link) included in digital marketing, special mentions and thanks during the event, a virtual booth, and other benefits such as a more formal role during the event available on request. We are happy to work with you closely to publicly acknowledge your support in a way that meets your needs and demonstrates your active and generous support for students.

We are deeply grateful for the valuable and generous contributions of in-kind sponsors to the success of this event. To learn more about our needs, please email us at support@differentchoices.org. Thank you so much!

(Two sponsorships — one College Showcase and one Voc/Tech Opportunity Expo — are available)

Sponsorship of the College Showcase or the Voc/Tech Expo helps cover the costs of the preparation of the virtual software platform by additional staff and the staff time spent managing 100+ exhibitors. Your gift makes it possible for us to truly maximize our own investment of organizational resources in this new endeavor and provide a superb virtual experience for both attendees and exhibitors with presentations, virtual booths, registration and interaction all in one online place.

Benefits include a prominent position on the website sponsor page with your name, logo and a link to your website through spring 2023, your logo (with a link) included in digital marketing, regular mentions in social media or other digital marketing, an event thank you and a virtual booth.

(Two sponsorships, one available at this level)

Institutions that serve underrepresented students are often less likely to participate in college and transition fairs due to costs. Community colleges are an essential path toward a college degree. Your support provides fee waivers to encourage their presence in service to our audience. Similarly, your sponsorship allows us to eliminate exhibitor fees for HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), and Native American-serving institutions seeking to participate in the transition fair.

Benefits include a listing on the website sponsor page (name, link, logo) through spring 2023, being mentioned in social media or other digital marketing or promotional communications, recognition during the event and by supported institutions, and a virtual booth.

(Six sponsorships, five available at this level)

The Different Choices Fair includes presentations with expert speakers and panelists. By sponsoring a presentation, you help us pay speaker fees to our presenters and panelists and provide tech and visual support during these presentations. Please request a list of planned presentations.

Benefits include a listing on the website sponsor page (name, link, logo) until Sept. 2022, mentions in social media or other digital marketing or promotional communications, your branding included during the presentation,  recognition during the event and a virtual booth.

(Six sponsorships available at this level)

The Different Choices Fair includes workshops with experts who can help students and their family with self-advocacy, college essays, resumes and more. By sponsoring a workshop, you help create materials for distribution, pay fees to our instructors, and provide tech and visual support. Please request a list of planned workshops.

Benefits include a listing on the website sponsor page (name, link, logo) through spring 2023, mentions in social media or other digital marketing or promotional communications, your branding included during the workshop, recognition during the event and a virtual booth.

(Two sponsorships available at this level)

The Different Choices Fair offers two high school seniors or first-year college students the opportunity to learn more about event creation, production, promotion, and providing tech and visual support. We are encouraging students with learning, emotional and social differences to apply for a part-time, 2-week internship.

Benefits include a listing on the website sponsor page (name, link, logo) through spring 2023, mentions in social media or other digital marketing or promotional communications, and a virtual booth.
